Women open up about menstruation, childbirth and their bodies in this cathartic 1974 feminist documentary.
As they put on a series of colourful, ritualistic vignettes – some satirical, some educational – that explore their somatic experiences, members of the Melbourne Women’s Theatre Group emotionally and intellectually discuss their own self-perceptions, the energy in the room palpable and liberating.
