Earthbound

After months of waiting, and with his escape window now verified, Eric Slate is leaving this earth for his homeland, his data collecting mission here complete. Yet to achieve this goal, Eric needs the assistance of another like-minded soul. When Eric meets Laurie Spicer, he knows he has found his man. He offers Laurie the chance of a lifetime.

Sam Sejavka's fine script makes new inroads into sci-fi (a genre rarely touched on in Australian short films) with this enigmatic short feature about a fragile figure who must escape this world before it crushes him. What nirvana will Eric and Laurie discover at the Sirrius Gardens caravan park?
