Doomscrolling her way through life, from deadening workdays to lonely nights on the couch, Ana feels lost. That is, until she arrives at an out-of-this-world decision. Co-written by director Hannah Moore and star Lucy Moir, Mars Futures’ near-future parable dramatises the dangers of yearning for escape rather than tackling one’s problems.
